WHAT’S THE REAL VALUE OF COACHING?

To my mind, the value of coaching lies in enhancing an individual’s ability to fulfill their own potential and for a company to ensure their culture creates an environment in which the potential of all can be realised. It’s about setting a course for deeper, sustainable transformation and supporting present and future generations of leaders.

It’s the potential of, and possibilities for, each person I coach that excites me and I appreciate how important it is for clients to have confidence and comfort in our partnership from the start.

No two coaching briefs are the same and this uniquely tailored process is managed intuitively through a subtle blend of curious enquiry, thorough situation analysis, exploration of intrinsic and extrinsic motivations and picking apart challenges.  Designing actions, adopting new and adapting old habits and behaviours culminate the coaching mission – creating a clear and achievable plan for reaching and sustaining goals.

With delivery of tangible actions and outcomes in mind, I use a variety of coaching styles and tools to determine a client’s success factors.  Context is key and together we explore their personal and corporate systems to ensure balance is maintained during any period of development or change.

My coach training and experience is supported by 25 years’ immersion in the creative agency, entertainment,  consumer brands and hospitality sectors. These years gave me great insight into good, indifferent and let’s say ‘interesting’ leadership styles, establishing in me an understanding that success at both the corporate and individual level lies in understanding human motivations.
